the Nomad Express pioneer history in short…

Nomad Express was born in Tbilisi Georgia in the early nineties on our clients request to organize packing of personal effects and export transportation.
Effectively, removal companies simply didn't exist in this part of the world in this period. Actually, from the same day on, certain cooperation with Gosselin World Wide Moving Belgium, started already because it was our conviction to start immediately with quality packing materials which we purchased from Gosselin.
An interactive cooperation indeed, since Nomad Express operated many times as subcontractor for Gosselin and Nomad counted whenever possible on the Gosselin international network and intermodal transportation solutions. We invited a first Georgian helper to Belgium to join one of the Gosselin packing teams on their daily tours of duty in order to gain necessary job skills. Other nomad colleagues from other countries followed.
This was the start of the first Nomad office: Nomad Express ltd Georgia was born in 1995. Other Nomad offices followed soon; first Nomad Armenia, later Nomad Azerbaijan, Nomad Uzbekistan, Nomad Kyrgyzstan and Nomad reps were appointed in Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, not to forget the Nomad Belgium office as coordination center. We advertised our company as reliable partner on the historical 'Silk road', the ancient link between the western world and the east, lands of the moving and trading nomads… making this point of view clear with our camel/nomad logo which immediately became our trademark…
By 2002, Nomad Express was expanding in such a way that a new input, a new strategy became a necessity. Again, we counted on our old and experienced friend Gosselin World Wide Moving, who became our big brother and partner. Gosselin added a big deal of value and expertise, making this new alliance Gosselin/Nomad a quality global player!
Interesting developments are on its way… At the end of 2005 the Nomad Express organization is a full owned Gosselin World Wide Moving subsidiary, and will be called Gosselin Caucasus & Central Asia.

Gosselin Caucasus & Central Asia becomes part of a multinational organization with 47 branch offices in 32 countries, more than 600 employees, a million square feet of warehousing and 200 vehicles providing service from the western border of China to The United States.

We are now able to provide a one-stop shop for your international removal needs. The Gosselin Group is a family of companies serving all aspects of the removal process. We have an export packing company that manufactures various sized packing crates under a stamp of approval from the US Military, an airfreight forwarding company at the Brussels airport coordinating continent-wide, a linehaul company, two ocean forwarding companies serving both US Flag and non-US flag service and 47 moving and storage branch offices serving almost every major city in Eastern - Western Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia.

All together, The Gosselin Group provides a tremendous amount of resources to be applied to all aspects of the relocation process as well as to move quickly to solve any situation that may be presented during the process. You, as our customer, have the benefit of only having to deal with one office or one organization for all aspects of the relocation of your employee.
